The Prophecy.
Fox cancels Arrested Development. David Cross knows why. [quicktime, 3.8 megs] Movie stolen from here.
So does Peter Griffin.
Peter: Everybody, I’ve got bad news. We’ve been cancelled.
Lois: Oh no, Peter! How could they do that?
Peter: Well unfortunately Lois, there’s just no more room on the schedule. We just gotta accept the fact that FOX has to make room for terrific shows like Dark Angel, Titus, Undeclared, Action, That 80’s Show, Wonder Falls, Fast Lane, Andy Richter Controls The Universe, Skin, Girl’s Club, Cracking Up, The Pitts, Firefly, Get Real, Freaky Links, Wanda At Large, Costello, The Lone Gunmen, A Minute with Stan Hooper, Normal Ohio, Pasadena, Harsh Realm, Keen Eddy, The Street, American Embassy, Cedric The Entertainer, The Tick, Louie, and Greg The Bunny.
Lois: Is there no hope?
Peter: Well, I suppose if ALL those shows go down the tubes we might have a shot.
That is fan-goddamn-tastic.
And really depressing.

I watched some of those shows :(
Now I have to get them from Netflix…
I hope Fox loses out on the deal.

You stole my movie!
LOL. Love your title “the prophecy” I was afraid people weren’t realizing that was on the DVD from last year’s season.
I’m quite please just for my small part in helping get this out there. I stole it fro raishad.com myself because they had referral blocking. I believe he originally digitized it. I think people have responded very constructively. I even saw some talk on livejournal of getting a petition together. I think we’re a long way from developing the critical mass necissary to get it’s run extended, but it’s definitely bringing some visibility to the issue of internet delivered VOD systems like vlogging, aka. video podcasting.. or even the potential to go direct to internet though a system like the Apple Store.
Thanks for groking it.

Props and thanks to you, sir. I’m glad Arrested Development has the fearless David Cross as its spokesperson in this case.
