My sign is stop.

I’ve installed WP-Blacklist, so sonny@moonlightshadow.us and lilo@suddenenlightenment.us can stop with the zen poker comments. You’re welcome, fuckers. Any people who read this and know how to make hell for people via email, feel free to bomb these jackasses off the face of the planet.

With love,
Me.

  2. Same bastards that inspired my BlackList install last week.

I hope they rot in hell. (When I finally get my Minister post, they’ll be the first against the wall.)

  4. I was searching the web for someone who has found a way to stop the Poker spammers that hit my site. Blacklist doesn’t always work, I was hoping for more detail.

I have also found your message about IE to be interesting; that it wouldn’t let me out until I read all you had to say means that you are almost as much of an odious fuck as the spammers.

  5. I would agree, Quilly, with one exception.

You came to my site. I didn’t send you a diatribe on IE, simply informed you that in my domain (quite literally), you must be aware of the options.

I’d like to hear more about the poker spam, however. Since installing Blacklist I haven’t had much trouble. Feel free to comment again. Also, if you *must* use IE, simply disable javascript and you should have no problems.

  6. More on the damn Poker Spam. (One thing we all agree on regardless of our political affiliations)

I changed all the references in files that control comments to, for example “wp-makeup new word-popup.php”. You also have to chenge the script where if refers to that file and change “comment” to “make up new word”.

However, I still get what seem to be internally generated comments from the gambling spammers. They do not generate e-mails like the others did. Though it still calls itself lilo@….

I’m afraid that there is a bug in WP. Which sucks.

Quilly (using mozilla to come here. :))
